Shoe raise: £18

This is affixed to the underside of the sole of a shoe to help equalize leg lengths. It is the most common nonsurgical treatment for a leg length discrepancy. In many cases, the lift or raise can bring the discrepancy down to a comfortable level.
You would easily pay £18 for a main course at a nice restaurant – the price of allowing someone with a disability to walk normally and without putting a strain on other parts of their body and without drawing attention to themselves.
