Hailet Mofati

Hailet Mofati (6) is wearing an ankle foot brace inside her right shoe to help control her “drop foot”. This is as a result of sciatic nerve injury which was caused by an ill-advised injection of quinine into her gluteus muscle. She will now be able to build the strength of her right leg which has become weak through lack of use.
